NHS Innovations North completed preliminary work on the design of a Pupilometer and required a method of presenting its appearance and operation to potential customers. They approached the RCID to generate an interactive 3D model to use at an important seminar for generating product publicity.
The RCID created a 3D model of the Pupilometer which included its functionality and operating scenario. The 3D interactive model can be run either over the Internet or standalone for marketing and training purposes.
The Pupilometer VR model runs on a standard Web browser such as Internet Explorer with a free downloaded plug-in. The VR model can be run on a laptop and there are no ties to proprietary software.
Feedback from the first presentation of the Pupilometer VR model.
"There were some interested comments after the presentation and even one request for information on where to purchase one !"
Pupilometer developed by Regional Medical Physics of Newcastle General hospital and delivered by RTC North.
